Access Control options extended to DID Contacts & Network Users Specific to that Discussion Kit

In the Access Control Features of the Discussion Kit, can there be a place to search and add Any DID Contact or Friend you may follow or know in that specific Network? Similar to how you can @ people. And allow users to individually determine which friends or people can enter the discussion, based on their Identity, and not solely their passport status?
