Blocklet Store changing criteria

Hello team

I appreciate that the devs want arcblock to update to the highest standards, that is good. However, the criteria keeps changing and I would like some clarification on how this affects published blocklets; for example even last week approved blocklets

Past month the team informed us the screenshot aspect ratio for blocklets should be 16. As of today, the aspect ratio criteria changed to 16

These are small changes on paper, however, I now developed over 50 blocklets. What implications does this have on the already approved blocklets with 16 aspect ratio screenshots?

As the team can tell, those blocklets have already had a lot of time spent on them to be modified to fit the criteria and then accepted to store. Now, with another new change, going back and changing them all to 16 would be very time consuming yet again. Is this fair on developers? Or can the already accepted blocklets be left with 16 aspect ratio

this is just one example, but I‘m trying to emphasize how small changes in a short timeframe can affect builders time and efforts. Especially if developing a lot of apps recently

Hi, sorry for the change in the screenshot ratio requirement, we did more research and found that it's more feasible for developers to produce 16 screenshots other than 16 ones, so we made the change. As for your blocklets:

for published blocklets, no need to make any further changes, just keep them in the store
for unpublished blocklets, you can leverage the latest Blocklet Studio to crop/zoom your images, then your images will be aligned with blocklet store requirements automatically.

i’ll keep the published blocklets as they are in that case and for the unpublished ones will make 16 aspect ratio going forward
