Malformed UTF-8 data usually indicates an encoding error. There seems to be an issue with the length of your secret Key. Please try re-copying your secret Key from Stripe.
If there are still problems after re-entering the public and secret keys, please get in touch with me.

I also noticed that the default secret key in Payment Kit (when in live mode) is much longer than Stripe’s standard secret keys, so I’m wondering if there’s some custom encoding or validation happening behind the scenes.
Just trying to fully test this flow so I can move forward with integrating payments on my site. Appreciate any help or clarity — especially on the formatting or how to properly override the secret key.
