Great question — and honestly, the biggest challenges are not unique to ArcBlock, but to Web3/AI development in general:

  1. Learning Curve
  • New developers often come from Web2, so concepts like DID, token economics, and decentralized deployment feel new.
  • We’re tackling this with DocSmith (better docs) and tools like WebSmith that hide complexity.
  1. Ecosystem Awareness
  • Many people still don’t realize what ArcBlock already provides out-of-the-box (auth, payments, NFT, data, etc.).
  • The challenge is showing that you don’t need to reinvent the wheel — we already packaged the essentials into Blocklets.
  1. Balance of Decentralization vs. Usability
  • Running nodes, wallets, managing keys — these things can feel heavy.
  • That’s why we’re pushing Passkey-native DID and smoother onboarding flows to make it feel as simple as Web2.

So the challenges are real — but solving them is exactly why ArcBlock exists.
