Congratulations to all NFT creators, constantly building and making beautiful things. Just some simple demographic questions:

  1. How long does it take you to create an NFT series?
  2. What's the revenue like? Do you make your expenses or even profit?
  3. How do you promote your creations aside from X?
  4. Should you want to collaborate with someone, how would that be possible considering that the blocklet etc is on your account alone? How would a second person take credit, could 2 people get a blocklet at some point?
  5. How is Arcblock NFT studio different from other similar apps?

  1. How long does it take you to create an NFT series? If your just talking about the actual minting, and not the creation of the art, it would only take a few minutes. The NFT maker tool is super easy to use, especially if you already have the files ready to mint.
  2. What's the revenue like? Do you make your expenses or even profit? I think this will vary depending on how much of an audience you have. It costs 10 ABT to mint a collection, beyond that could be considered profit, just depending on how much time and resources you spent on making the art.
  3. How do you promote your creations aside from X? Good question. X seems where a lot of the advertising is done. I think the DID wallet and these chat rooms could be a great place to gather some steam.
  4. Should you want to collaborate with someone, how would that be possible considering that the blocklet etc is on your account alone? How would a second person take credit, could 2 people get a blocklet at some point? Not sure how automated this process could be. It seems like now a sell would go to one wallet, and any splitting of revenue would have to be done manually.
  5. How is Arcblock NFT studio different from other similar apps? Arcblock lets me be in complete control of my project. The other platforms I've used have centralized marketplaces that can be difficult to gain traction on. More importantly though Arcblock frees me from the fear for censorship. I can easily up my site and mint site, at a fraction of the cost it would be on other sites. I believe that it this autonomy and economical benefits that sets Arcblock away from the competition.

Is it required to create the art by hand or software? Is there an algorithm to use like image generator or something 🤔

Those are great questions! I’ll try answering them from first to last!

  1. It can vary depending on the collection amount, your intended purpose, and how you’re creating the artwork. I personally use Midjourney for my own work, and collaborate with other artists in the NFT space. For Example, I made the concept and all 113 images of ARCBOTZ in a few days. Another example, is a collection I helped produce with a friend of mine. It took months to develop, and a decent amount of money along with it lol.
  1. With regard to profits. ARCBOTZ has been my most successful collection to date, and now that it’s only 10 ABT to create a factory, you can literally make 11 NFTs and sell them all for 1 ABT and be in the green. However, that doesn’t always happen, it may sometimes take a little bit before you get any sells, but don’t let that discourage you. Sometimes things just click, and other times they don’t.
  2. I primarily use X to promote my work and connect with people. I use YouTube from time to time. Tiktok is an option too, but I’ve found one social app is enough for me lol
  3. You can definitely collaborate on projects! z1croUysBVjGHD7KtHqZyhxKrCrSB2Z1Daa and I have a couple times in the past. It’s all about communication. Now if you’re curious as to how you can collaborate inside the NFT Maker Blocklet, that is possible too! How’d you go about doing it, is by issuing them a DID passport to sign in as a member to your blocklet. That way they can use it, but not control it. And if need be you can revoke their access at any time. I’ll attach a link to a video I‘ve made detailing how it’s possible. It’s also possible to split the revenues between collaborators in a single transaction, similar to how the bug bounty works when everyone gets their portion in a single transaction according to a specified amount.

  1. Connecting your wallet to a NFT marketplace like Foundation or OpenSea and creating a collection is similar to renting an apartment. It’s easy, but you don’t own anything. ArcBlock is different, because you get to own the home (the software) that creates the NFTs, and that’s why it’s a more secure and decentralized product.
