What is the relation between the cost of our spaces and discuss kit?

when people upload media to our discuss kit, does that increase our space storage and this eventually drive up our costs?

3 services may come into play when you run a website powered by Discuss Kit or any blocklets from https://store.blocklet.dev

  • The ArcBlock Launcher Service: required, you will be billed daily based on blocklet count added to your app if you are using on-demand space, more on the pricing policy here: Pricing policy
  • The DID Domain Service: optional but recommended if you want a more customized domain branding, you will be billed monthly or yearly based on a fixed price
  • The DID Spaces Service: optional but recommended, you will be billed daily based on the unit you consumed on DID Spaces, more on pricing policy here: Pricing policy

If you have connected your app to your DID Spaces and turned on auto backup, then all your data will be synced to DID Spaces periodically, if your app consumes too much storage, your cost will increase eventually, but in most cases, an app without too much user will not generate that much data.
