DID Domains feature request

Just curious as to why we are restricted to using .did.life or .did.rocks as the ending of the domains when trying to register one.

Would it be possible to have one that is just .did or be able to add whatever we want instead of the "life" or "rocks" I don't necessarily want to use either of those if I can avoid it and would prefer to be able to add my own word to replace them if just using .did isn't possible.

2 new kinds of domain management will be supported by DID Domain in upcoming release:

  • Authorize your top-level domain, such as example.com to DID Domain, and it helps to manage all subdomains automatically.
  • Purchase a top-level domain, which is very similar to what you do on Godaddy, but with a much more convenient UX.

will this include choice of wildcard domain (even if that would be for the dedicated space option only)?

For instance in a dedicated space, maybe an enterprise or small business that offered services and products separately, they might want their domain similar to "example.did", but they may want "store.example.did" instead of "example.did/store". 🤔

If you authorized or purchased DID Doimain to help you manage example.com, then any subdomain will be managed automatically.
