Universal Discussion Hub
I'm not sure if something like this is already in the works, but I thought it would be interesting to make a central hub for all Public & Invite Only Discussion Kits to be found and accessed.
OVERVIEW
- I recently noticed that my discussion kit and the people I follow within it, do not carry over to ArcBlock’s community discussion kit. Or at least, that's what it looked like.
- Is it possible to make a Universal Discussion Kit Website / Dapp, and synch together all public and “invite only” discussion kits?
- The public channels could be easily entered, and all the discussions and comments readable and respondable.
- The “invite only” communities, cannot be entered unless invited and issued a passport. In these specific forums, you can ask to be invited, and wait for a response from the creator/owner to either accept or deny your request.
- This interconnected web of discussion kits could create a vibrant ecosystem of diverse conversations and interactions, all easily accessible through the central webpage or app. The potential for growth and collaboration within this decentralized network is vast, offering a unique and engaging social media experience.
- One could argue X/Twitter already provides this, or maybe something like Reddit and Farcaster. While that may be true, what they lack is the DID / NFT / Crypto / Multi-Chain integrations provided by Arcblock and the DID: Wallet.
- Other Networks still have to build out a lot more architecture and infrastructure, while we only need to connect the dots and let the network grow!
EXTRA INFO
- Anyone new wanting to join the Hub would have to download and log in with their DID: Wallet or a web2 option. Which will likely be an interesting straightforward experience for people familiar and new to web3.
- It could also onboard more wallet users who may not be familiar with crypto or blockchain at all but are interested in testing out the technology.
- New channels would pop up anytime a new discussion is launched publicly or with the “invite only” option activated, giving more people a reason to download the discussion kit and use $ABT.
Here is also a basic design I made to help visualize what I had in mind. It's not that great, but it at least gets across the concept!

Thanks, this a great idea, and we actually have something similar planed on our roadmap, but your suggestion and mock will surely be helpful.
A universal hub for everything is important for a true decentralized social network. So when this feature is ready, it means another milestone is ready.

Takes sometime... a messaging hub will come earlier than the "discussion hub" you visioned. Hopefully we can layout our decentralized social landscape in 2024.

I think a “message hub” in and of itself will be an awesome addition to the ArcBlock Ecosystem! And a great starting place for a Universal Hub.
I saw today you posted about wanting to use GPT-4o for the use of Voice Interaction within ArcSphere.

It comes sooner than you thought 😂 Soon we can have secured message directly from DID Wallet to any dApps. It's essentially a full decentralized messaging but all key managed by DID:
Counter-less social features can be enabled by this messaging architect.

🤣 As of recent, I have been using the messenger aspect of the DID: Wallet more for reading and responding to comments from the community, so I see what you mean🤔
Now that I really think about it, I’m surprised I didn’t see that sooner, because no other wallet in web3 has a message feature for peers and apps I believe, or at least not one that I’ve used.

This is a great idea, so many things to build, could someone let us know when the updated release of road map is, that way we could all have some idea, of what to add to the arcblock - ecosystem, no need to butt heads this early on, tho competition is always key to great innovations, I was also thinking of something that charts #abt, tokenomics, along with any coins that are built using abt architecture... Also having dex is a must, but I'm guessing u have thought of that?
