Fake accounts 2025 abt carnival event
As mentioned earlier this month, since the event is approaching a closing time: this event has been joined by now hundreds of fake accounts, likely made by same user. Majority of the fake profiles look like this example below, all joined DID wallet this month and have no posts:
Could the team clean this up and check the ip addresses? They’re likely to be from the same person. I think the rewards should be given to real accounts and users (whether new or old), and not to someone trying to game the system with mass creation of fake accounts this month

Out of 238 participants at the time I’m typing this, roughly ~40 of them are real users. That puts the remaining ~198 fake accounts getting over 83% of the reward pool. This will likely go to one user who created all those fake accounts.
I know this can be trackable on chain and the culprit would be found, but it can be avoided all together by not rewarding the fake accounts

This also signals that the new KYC process for making an account needs to be more rigorous, perhaps by implementing further steps to discourage people from making fake emails to go along for their fake accounts. This user clearly bypassed KYC since they’re able to create a lot of fake accounts still
