โTagsโ UI Glitch and Missing Admin Link
๐ Platform: https://marketplace.arcblock.io ๐ป Device: PC (Desktop Browser) & Mobile (Android/iOS) ๐ Date Reported: October 10, 2025 โ๏ธ Severity: Medium ๐ก Category: UI / Interaction / Error Handling
๐งฉ Description:
Two major issues were observed in the โTagsโ selection interface of the ArcBlock Marketplace:
1๏ธโฃ When the user selects more than 3 tags, the error or warning message for exceeding the tag limit is not visible or appears off-screen.
2๏ธโฃ When the prompt appears:
โWant a new tag? Please contact admin to add.โ there is no clickable link or button to reach the admin or support team โ making the message non-functional.
๐ช Steps to Reproduce:
- Go to https://marketplace.arcblock.io.
- Open a post/discussion form or any section with a โTagsโ field.
- Select 4 or more tags.
- Observe the visibility of the error or warning message.
- Note the โContact adminโ text and check if itโs clickable.
โ Actual Result:
- The warning message for tag limits is not visible (especially on mobile).
- The โContact adminโ message is not clickable, offering no direct support access.
โ Expected Result:
- A clear, visible message should appear when users select more than 3 tags: > โ ๏ธ โYou can only select up to 3 tags.โ >
- The โContact adminโ message should include a direct clickable link or support option (chat or email).
โ ๏ธ Impact:
- Users cannot easily understand tag limitations.
- Causes confusion and disrupts user flow during content creation or submission.
- Users cannot reach admin to request new tags โ limiting marketplace flexibility.
๐ Possible Causes (Hypothesis):
- Hidden or misplaced CSS styling for error notification.
- Missing link handler for admin contact message.
- UI component may not be optimized for mobile viewport.
๐งฐ Suggested Fix:
- Fix message positioning and ensure proper color contrast in both light/dark mode.
- Add a visible link or button for contacting admin, such as: > ๐ฌ โNeed a new tag? Contact Adminโ >
- Ensure consistent behavior across desktop and mobile devices.
