Where do they go? Unminted NFTs in a collection
If I close my nft store down before all of the collection is minted out, what happens to the remaining un minted pieces?
do they stay on chain? Are you able to reopen an nft store later to sell remaining part of collection?

Technically speaking, if you close your NFT Store, the unminted NFTs in the collection can be minted in with valid transactions before the mint limit is hit, but that may require some knowledge of how the blockchain works.
If you reopen your NFT Store, users can mint again for what's left in the collection.
being able to close and reopen mint is a great option.
