Sound clip function on Pages
Is it possible to embed a sound clip onto certain pages that initiates when a page is opened and plays in a loop or just as a single clip activated by a button for example?
I can see the link function/ image function etc but can’t seem to locate a sound clip upload function anywhere on pages?
If this isn’t an option at the moment is it something we could look at incorporating into pages?
and if it is already an option and and anyone would like to share its location with me I would be most grateful 😅🤪

Currently, this feature is not supported, but we will consider adding it in future versions.

not quite, i think you’re talking about uploading a song to share with the community?
I’m referring to embedding a sound clip that plays as part of a page on my DID site and initiates when a page is opened like a sound effect etc. or potentially with a play button embedded but as a specific function of a page (not talking about uploading a video or song/audio clip to a community post.) 👍
completely different but I do think your suggestion would be a nice addition too though, would be handy for anyone musical to upload songs and things on community posts for sure 👍

In the meantime for a workaround to anyone else who was struggling with the same issue I have added the sound to a video file with a black background, this opens in a separate link And plays the Sound on a different page.
It will do for now but would be great to update it in the future and have the audio play automatically as a mp3 file 👍
I’ll continue tracking the updates so that I can implement this to my page if in the future the team adapt this to be more efficient 👏
Due to restrictions on playing audio in the browser, users need to manually click the play button to play the audio, so a play button needs to be placed on the page or section. I will consider how to implement it.
